The Budapest Parliament is the home of Hungary’s judiciary and the seat of high public office. A mighty building, decorated with a multitude of statues and paintings, it is also worthy as a work of art to fill the prominent role it plays in the life of the state. Virtually unchanged since it was completed nearly a hundred years ago, it is a symbol of both the Hungarian state and the city of Budapest.
